Tips on taking Bus A1 & Bus A2

Buses A1 and A2 pass the BTS skytrain station, called Morchit station, and MRT Metro Chatuchak Park Station. This place is roughly on the mid-way between Don Mueang Airport and the Bangkok city center. Stopping here and changing to the BTS or MRT is a good way to avoid the horrendous traffic of Thai capital.

Boarding on the bus A1 and A2 at Don Mueang Airport might be not convenient for passengers with children and big luggage as there is no luggage space inside the bus and it can get very crowded during rush hour so you might need to stand all the way to your destination. The journey can take much more than 30 minutes, as the length of it depends on the time of the day and traffic conditions.

As you may know, nothing runs to schedule in Thailand. From our personal experience, the bus is likely to come more often than 30 mins so you can wait to board in the next bus to get your seat.
