Current Thailand Visa on Arrival fees are 2000 THB (~60 USD) per person so the exemption of these visa fees is a really attractive offer to a big number of Chinese, Indians, Taiwanese and other foreign visitors.
Thailand Visa on Arrival Free
Visa on Arrival fee exemption was implemented between November 15, 2018 and January 13, 2019 so far. However, now the Cabinet announced that Thailand Visa on Arrival fee exemption will be extended until April 30, 2019. If you are planning to celebrate Chinese New Year or Songkran Festival in Thailand, now you can make it significantly cheaper!
An extension of Visa on Arrival fee exemption was published by the Cabinet on 8th of January, 2019. Visa on Arrival fee waiver extension from 14 January 2019 to 30 April 2019 IS FINALLY CONFIRMED. Thailand Visa on Arrival fee waiver was extended until 31 October 2019.

What does it mean? You can get Thailand visa free in 2019 & 2020 as Thailand visa fees on arrival are as follows:
- Thailand visa fees on arrival August 2019 - 0 THB
- Thailand visa fees on arrival September 2019 - 0 THB
- Thailand visa fees on arrival October 2019 - 0 THB
- Thailand visa fees on arrival from November 2019 to April 2020 - 0 THB
- Thailand visa fees on arrival from May 2020 onwards - 2000 THB
